2nd Broxburn Company

Douglas Leiper

We are taking the mid-term school holiday off so there is not a Zoom Parade meeting on the 15th February.  We return on the 22nd February with a 6 night run up to Easter.

We start meeting virtually on Zoom from the 4th of January with an orientation meeting and for our Parade nights from the 11th January.

We conclude the 2019/2020 BB session with the issue of awards etc on the 27th July, which will be issued to your door.  We would love to hear how you are getting on.  Over the next 3-4 weeks we will be discussion how to run our Parade Nights for the start of the 2020/2021 session taking on board the BB ScottishHQ working party, West Lothian Battalion, how the Scottish schools are to progress from the 11th August and how The Church of Scotland guidance / Broxburn Parish Church of Scotland guidance allows.  It is still complex and challenging times for us all.

We update with virtual parade nights online for Wk13/14 of #BBatHome and continue expanding #faithathome with the inclusion of podcast and video links of particular services and events of interest such as the working together of the Boys’ Brigade regional BB camps that were due to take place but became virtual as UNITE & CUMBRAE CAMP AT HOME.

We launch the Boys’ Brigade Scotland and Alpha Scotland – Alpha Youth Series 2.0, a 13 week Alpha course for young people to our ‘Workplace‘.  This first post has introduction guidance & videos and Episode 01 – Life: Is this it?  Each Sunday week we will be adding the next Episode.  #BBatHome #faithathome.

2nd Broxburn Company launch Workplace, to manage and provide #BBatHome for the boys as well as devotional information for #faithathome for all the family in a safe, private ecosystem.

In line with both the Scottish Government’s advice and the instruction from Boys’ Brigade HQ, all of our Parade Nights and future planned events have been suspended until further notice.
